PPI Fire and Risk is a team of fire prevention professionals with more than 150 years of combined experience across California's fire service. We work both sides of the code: helping fire departments and code officials assess, strengthen, and defend their prevention programs, and helping the businesses they regulate meet those same standards without guesswork.

Our people didn't learn the code from a textbook. They wrote the notices, ran the plan reviews, testified in the hearings, and led the bureaus. That is what sets the work apart — we know what an inspector is looking for because we have been the inspector, and we know how to build a program, or a path to compliance, that holds up the moment it is questioned.

That experience spans fire marshal leadership, fire and life safety inspection, plan review, hazardous materials, wildfire and the wildland-urban interface, fire investigation, community risk reduction, and state fire training.

Three things hold true in everything we take on. Standards-based: every finding traces to an adopted code, performance based determination, or a recognized NFPA standard, never just an opinion. Defensible: programs and findings are built to survive appeals, hearings, and the hard questions. Field-tested: our guidance comes from people who have not only studied the job, but done it. We find a way to get to “yes.”
